USS Alamo Association was formed 15 June 2002 at Naval Air Station Pensacola during our 5th reunion. We all owe a debt of gratitude to Mike Schuerman. He got the ball rolling with the first three reunions in St. Louis.
IRS has granted USS ALAMO ASSOC. Non-profit Organization / Tax Exempt status. Donations/contributions to the association are tax deductible, if you itemize. Any single donation, less than $ 250.00, does not require written substantiation from the association (you can make multiple single donations). For donations $ 250.00 and above, you'll need to request substantiation and, of course, it will be provided to you (the substantiation needs to be dated no later than the date the owner files a return for the tax year in which the donation/contribution was made).
This Association is formed to perpetuate the name Alamo and to continue friendships through contact and reunions. Membership is open to any Navy, Marine, Army serving in ship’s company or embarked personnel.

Mail your application, check and/or photo to USS ALAMO ASSOC. Membership costs $10 per year on each January 1 or $ 110.00 for life. Please make check payable to USS Alamo Assoc.
